We publish Asterfold, a sunset planner for choosing a viewpoint and preparing a photo session. Explore the Sun’s path, choose a lens, see when sunset falls within your frame and keep composition notes and a checklist. The field journal records what the sky actually did, separately from the forecast. Free access includes planning for two viewpoints and the journal; optional Plus adds more viewpoints, alerts and a longer outlook. Sun positions assume a flat horizon and do not account for trees or buildings. Forecast ratings are estimates, not promises of a particular sky.
