Ripple is a free focus and parental screen-time app for Android and iOS 16+. It blocks WeChat Channels/Moments, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels inside those apps while keeping chat. Android supports on-device anti-uninstall and monotonic clock anti-time-change. iOS uses FamilyControls, ManagedSettings denyAppRemoval, DeviceActivity, and an 8-digit unlock code. Local only, no ads, no cloud account. Parents can keep WeChat chat open for kids while closing Channels and Moments.
